A steer at the Cloverdale Rodeo had it's spine broken yesterday

So...to all those that think rodeos are not cruel and the animals are not harmed.. a steer at the Cloverdale Rodeo had it's spine broken yesterday. I wonder how it feels to have someone jump down onto your back from on top of a horse?. Can you just imagine?Terrified, confused...a cowthug and horse thundering after and no where to go, no escape... then thud!Crack! Excruciating Pain! This defenseless animal that did NOT ask to be a participant was killed, for the entertainment of an archaic blood-lust crowd. Please write a letter to Doug McCallum and Diane Watts, our councilors to let them know the rodeo has no place in a civilized society!
