Animal Advocates Society of BC is very pleased to announce that we partnered with Squamish Neighbourhood Animal Partnership and Protection Society (S.N.A.P.P.S.) on a Squamish Reserves One-Day Wellness Clinic. (We also partnered with them on a Spay & Neuter / Health Campaign.)
S.N.A.P.P.S. directed the clinic and Animal Advocates Society made it possible by paying the bills.
This Wellness Clinic was very cost-effective, because the vet and the Douglas College students graciously donated their time. This meant that Animal Advocates only had to cover the supplies and treatments that were needed. This came to $771.00.
S.N.A.P.P.S. tells us: "The photos below are from the clinic, held at the Chief Joe Mathias Centre (CJMC) in April 2014. This clinic proved very successful! We saw 52 animals come through to be examined by Dr Ashley and students of Douglas College."

Squamish First Nation territory includes some of the present day cities of Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster, North Vancouver District, North Vancouver City, and West Vancouver, Port Moody and all of the District of Squamish and the Municipality of Whistler.
Squamish First Nation territory does not include Tsleil-Waututh First Nation (historically known as Burrard Indian Band, Dollarton Hwy, North Vancouver) and is also separate from Kwaw-kwaw-apilt (Musqueam First Nation, Southlands, Vancouver).
If you would like to help Animal Advocates and S.N.A.P.P.S. in this life-saving campaign, please donate to Animal Advocates so we can keep paying these bills.
