Subject: What is SPCA policy re allowing cat rescue societies to have cats scheduled for destruction?

April 26, 2003

Dear Mr Busch,

We have been told that you would stop the giving of cats that are old, sick, or just unsellable to cat rescue groups if you found out that the person appying is from a cat rescue group. Can you please tell us what BC SPCA policy is regarding this?

We look forward to your earliest reply,

Thank you for your email. The BC SPCA has no such policy and has an excellent working relationship with many rescue groups across the province.

Best wishes,

It turned out the dog wasn’t pure so they wouldn’t help it
