AAS has always had the greatest respect for Audrey Hill for her steadfast adherence to real animal welfare policies. There is no other SPCA in BC like it. We receive almost daily reports of neglected dogs, on and off reservers, some even in severe distress, and we are almost always contacted after contacting the SPCA resulted in no betterment for the dog.

Dogs are reported to us that live their lives in little pens,. with no stimulation, soaking wet blankets, if they have any, minimum shelter. The SPCA's vaunted Five Freedoms are not applied.
