Lowest animals on the totem pole and the easiest to dispose of

As is usual, the lowest animals on the totem pole and the easiest to dispose of (no one notices or are less likely to care) were disposed of first. All the small animals (rabbits etc) were put down on Tues. The ones that don't bark or meow or have a high profile in local shelters.

Ironically, the chances are they were the least likely to have had it, unlike the cats & dogs where it most likely originated from.

RIP little ones....sadly your death often goes unnoticed by many but we won't forget.
