When I think everything over that is happening at the moment....I am saddened first of all by all of it but also the double standard.

The mass killing or proposed killing of 350 dogs & cats and *all* of the small animals (already killed) in Ontario draws such public outrage and it even reaches the political level.

Yet, in BC we have seen repeated MASS CULLS of THOUSANDS, not 100's, thousands, of rabbits in multiple communities...but that barely creates a ripple....except for the folks angered that the slaugtered rabbits should be fed to the homeless and the various rabbit protection/advocacy groups.

What makes one more horrible than the other? And why?
