Both CTV and Global networks aired Tina as the top story of the day. The Greater Vancouver Zoo's Animal Care Manager again said that it could take up to 2 yrs to get the required permits to move Tina to the sanctuary in Tennessee, and she would not survive that long. We know that's not true, because Carol Buckley was then interviewed by phone live from Tennessee, and she just finished speaking with Canadian Federal officials, and they told her NO PERMITS ARE NEEDED!!!! They only need a Provincial permit to move Tina, and that will take 6 weeks or less. Far less, if the BC Provincial Gov't expedites the process, which they are capable of doing should they desire.
