I am sorry, but I just have to respond to
Emma's post. I am a Paramedic and I know first hand that there is no such thing as "toughening up" or "getting used" to anything like this. Everytime I have to do CPR on someone it hurts deep. Everytime I go to a car accident my palms sweat, my heart races for fear of seeing the suffering of seriously injured people or deal with the dead.I have done it hundreds of times and it gets more difficult not easier. What bothers me most is that there is even anyone who would be able to commit these crimes against innocent animals and go home and pet there dog or cat and have a great sleep and not even think twice about what they have done! I am sick and tired of the lame excuses as to why we just get rid of things instead of fixing the problem in the first place. Shame on anyone who has ever committed such horrible acts, your hands are bloodied! Isn't it time we start calling it what it is? Murder! Using the word Euthanasia makes it sound ok!
