I listened to Doctor Coren too and I was impressed by how open he was in pointing out that the DTA4 test is really only a work in progress, being "honed" (honing seems to be taking up most of Doctor Ledger's career in dog science) and that there is no proof published that it works.
My favourite part was when Doctor Coren didn't call Doctor Ledger a "good scientist" - he called her "good gal". What a delightful insult!
And I loved it when Coren, one of North America's foremost and most published dog behaviourists, said of testing dogs at SPCAs, "You don't get normal behaviour, you get all the wrong readings". So much for the "good gal's" science!
