I just want to tell you what happened to my friend. She got a chow chow cross from the Vernon SPCA not long ago and she was told that it was fine with children and doesn't bite but four hours later it bit her four year old on the face and he had to have stiches. So she returned the dog and they said they would put it down. Too bad, because he was a really nice dog with adults, calm and friendly, he just shouldn't have gone to a home with kids that's all because they startled him. Not a very good reason to kill a happy dog in my opinion. I feel so bad for him being led back into the SPCA to be killed.
