From Brindleweb:

Can somebody help me get a dog from Delta SPCA?

Frosty is a mini American Eskimo. I have the perfect home for her on the Island. I'll get her here somehow. Please, if you could arrange to adopt her, I will be responsible for everything else. They don't know me in Delta and would likely not want to bother with an Island adoption.

Eskies are my heart breed and I worry they get adopted to the wrong home because they are cute. Not everybody knows their needs and they can become brats that get returned to the shelters.

We recently re-habbed an Eskie who was biting everybody. He has just gone to his new family and has stopped his biting ways.

Would anybody be willing to help me get her out?

Sadly, what is best for dogs in the SPCA's care, seems to be the last thing the SPCA is willing to do

The SPCA had a choice to give Sophie to Springer Spaniel Rescue
I was given a promised that if Sophie was returned to the shelter

Questions of fact can, and should, be answered candidly by shelter staff
Secrecy is a diminishing option for the SPCA thanks to the internet
