Almost a year ago Craig Daniell in the Victoria Winter Newsletter penned these words, "What we accomplish every day in every corner of the province is something we can be genuinely proud of."

After reading the results concerning Spay/Neuter Assistance and Pre-sale sterilization by the BC SPCA I must question how anyone could be even accepting let alone proud of how little is being done.

By not putting a genuine effort into both pre-sale sterilization and spay/neuter the BC SPCA are simply closing its eyes to the plight and subsequent tragic, often painful and avoidable deaths of the thousands of litters being born.

This is not and certainly should never be considered ANIMAL WELFARE. It is quite the opposite.
