Animal Advocates Watchdog

this is a serious matter

The first thing the "new" BC SPCA should have spent money on was to improve animal sheltering (their mandate is to promote animal welfare yet animals were being kept in inhumane conditions).

The second thing it should have spent money on was improving the working conditions (and pay) in the pooer branches.

And last was expanding head office staff from 10 to 30+, sending Nadine Gourkow to England three times, and taking retreats to Harrison Hot Springs and Manning Park.

They are getting away with this because the media is in bed with them. Where are any stories from the premier animal issues writer in BC, Nicholas Read (after he did the BC SPCA the huge favour of crushing the power of Hooper and the Vancouver SPCA)? BCTV, CBC radio, and the latest Courier article - all free p.r. for the SPCA.

We need to list the grossest examples of SPCA personal excess and get this out to the public.
