This contest - like the BoD's refusal to make a serious investment in spay/neuter assistance - shows the shortsightedness of BC SPCA thinking. If it looks good on the surface - go for it! I think they should take a second look at this approach. What kind of a message are they sending out to the public? Perhaps they'll make this an annual clearance sale!!
