Dear Lorie,

I am writing in response to your post dated January 6,2004 in which you make several comments regarding the content of the Animal Advocates website ("much of what you read on Animal Advocates is completely inaccurate and malicious, particularly in the case of defamatory comments made about the SPCA"). As a person who has posted content on the Animal Advocates Message Board and therefore is part of the website, I am personally offended by your comment which I have included as quoted. However, I am rising above my personal feelings to request that you provide me with specific and thorough documentation regarding incidents you referred to when you wrote "we follow up on each and every complaint made about mistreated animals and execute search warrant whenever we find an animal in distress." When the requested documentation is received, I will be in a postion to form an opinion regarding the issue you have raised. In the meantime, I ask that you refrain from making public statements, verbally or in writing, which may lead listeners or readers to conclude that I, as a member of the Animal Advocates Message Board, am misinformed, malicious and deliberate in my attempt to defame the SPCA.

I will forward a copy of this posting to your SPCA e-mail address,along with a copy to Craig Daniell, CEO BCSPCA and to the BCSPCA Board of Directors.
