SPCA actions are not only unforgivable - they are actionable

Jennifer Dickson wrote that the neglect suffered by Jasper at the hands of the SPCA is unforgivable.

It is more than unforgivable. It is actionable cruelty under the PCA Act. The SPCA itself causes distress to almost every single animal in its "care" and causes critical distress (distress so critical that the only humane option is euthanasia).

The SPCA is not interested in being forgiven by anyone without a lot of money and no one in rescue has a lot of money. All of our thousands of posts show that real animal welfarists don't because we spend it doing the work that the SPCA only pretends to do.

It is time to have the SPCA charged with cruelty. It has had more than enough time to reform itself and it is now clear that it is not going to stop the most egregious abuses of animals in its own disease-filled facilities.

Instead it is spending time and trusting donators' money on attempting to crush and criminalize innocent rescuers and at least one breeder. It is using its power to crush and criminalize its perceived competition and enemies.

It is time to criminalize the BC SPCA, its employees and directors who permit the SPCA to misuse both animals and its power under the PCA Act.

It's time to bring the SPCA before the courts.
