I get really angry when I see that the SPCA keeps taking in these dogs who already have compromised immune systems in many cases, and the first thing they do is vaccinate them! How totally mindless is that? Take an undernourished, sickly animal and shoot it full of chemicals.

While most vets in the field are moving away from frequent vaccines, the SPCA is still doing it on a regular basis, despite the fact that an animal that comes through their door, may have already been done very recently.

Example:I pulled a female adult dog from my local SPCA several months ago. She had been moved from another SPCA, and her records show that she got vaccinated at the original shelter and then again when I got her, only a month later.
