More shameless product promotion by the BC SPCA - this is NOT animal welfare though the SPCA will fool many people into thinking it is.

No other entity kills more Pit Bulls in BC than the BC SPCA does. We have that on record. SPCAs and pounds all over BC are bursting with Pit Bulls and crosses. The SPCA cannot find homes for many of them, and many more are killed after failing the SPCA's test, the one it used to "fail" Cheech, the one that other dogs have passed and have gone on to bite and be killed after being sold by the SPCA.

This is not animal welfare, it is more SPCA promotion in the pattern of its TV ads that encouraged impulse buying of life-style accessory dogs, and the Home for the Holidays Christmas promotion. It is shamelessly playing to the masses who haven't a clue that the SPCA is full of unsold adult Pit Bulls, some of whom will be killed if not sold to the low-lifers who are almost exclusively the only people who are attracted to Pit Bulls (we have examples of the SPCA doing this, on record). It is almost certain that these pups are doomed to be passed from hand to hand until killed, probably within two years according to pound statistics.

The masses haven't a clue that selling puppies when you are killing adults is pure marketing, not animal welfare. The masses haven't a clue that some if not all these pups will end up in the wrong hands and will become public menaces and then the SPCA might get paid again, this time to seize and kill the dog.

The masses haven't a clue what real animal welfare is. It is the SPCA's duty to educate the public, but true to its long history, it fattens on setting the lowest example of animal welfare.

The SPCA continues to chose style over substance, marketing over animal welfare, money over morality.

Thanks to the power of the internet and networking this dog has been saved from death. But who gets helped by the Biscuit Fund and who doesn't?
It appears to me that when the hard questions come their way, the SPCA simply ignores them
