Cache Creek Cats

We said Yes to helping WOODY...of course

Hi Judy,
Would Animal Advocates be able to help with some of this poor cat's vet costs? He must have had an agonizingly painful abscessed  tooth for him to have scratched himself raw trying to "get at" the pain.

He was brought to my house by someone who found him in a wood pile. I've named him Woody. I brought him to the vet and the secondary infection is so bad that they are not yet able to determine the cause of the primary infection.
It is hard to see in the photos, but his eyes are so full of pus that he can't even see. We have him on oral antibiotics, Meticam, Revolution and eye drops. He is going back to the vet on April 22.

7 CATS
Seven more cats from reserves around Cache Creek, Bella, Cairo, Edward, Hannah, Missy-Toes, Picky-Picky, and Shadow, all spayed or neutered, and all their medical needs covered.  The tame ones will be rehomed and the feral will be put back where they came from and be fed and maintained.

There has been such a flood of appeals for help this year that we may not be able to reply very quickly or at all to more appeals. AAS is now so well-known for its experience in all animal welfare and rescue matters that we are asked for advice and help from all over BC, Canada, the U.S. and the world.  For years I have answered each and every appeal with detailed advice that I have learned from 20 years of rescue and advocacy. Our high standards are well-known to the public, that is why we are so often asked for help and advice.

We are currently working on so many projects that I am sorry to have to tell you that we may not be able to help you with your rescue and/or your personal bills.
