Why kill vaccinated cats?

If vaccines work, why would they kill the vaccinated cats?
If vaccines don't work, why bother with them?

40, 50, 60... and more? Excess cats are as big a pest problem in most of BC as rats and mice are
"We will not turn an animal away"- a great business slogan
A more fitting slogan could read "easy and effortless disposal"
"No Interest" - "No Service Charges" - "Easy Payment Plan" - "After Sales Service"
It seems to me that shelters which safeguard health should be one of the highest priorities
