A more fitting slogan could read "easy and effortless disposal"

"We will not turn an animal away" sounds good but perhaps a more fitting slogan could read "easy and effortless disposal." That's the way the BC SPCA has been doing business for decades and it is only because of societal demands and the animal rights movement that it is re-evaluating its policies and practises. Why didn't this "animal welfare" organization, with the capacity to do so much good, address the crisis of pet overpopulation years ago with spay/neuter programs, education, and lobbying for legislation pertaining to all aspects of the pet trade, with emphasis on unregulated breeding and of ending the sales of animals in pet stores? Sadly, it has devolved into little more than a recycling and disposal agency for the surplus of "throwaway" life, for those who cannot "speak for themselves."

"We will not turn an animal away"- a great business slogan

"No Interest" - "No Service Charges" - "Easy Payment Plan" - "After Sales Service"
It seems to me that shelters which safeguard health should be one of the highest priorities
