Will the BC SPCA start a legal action for defamation against Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Society? *LINK*

Will the BC SPCA start a legal action for defamation against Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Society for the things he said about the SPCA and Ms Chortyk which have been widely published and read on the internet?

We doubt it - Sea Shepherd Society has deep pockets and lots of lawyers.

The SPCA did not start a legal action against Barbara Yaffe and the Vancouver Sun for the 2004 article The BC SPCA: A prison camp for animals. Again, deep pockets and lots of lawyers.

No....the BC SPCA uses its money to go after those it perceives as weak. It threatens staff, volunteers, and critics with legal actions and often the threat works. It didn't work on AAS though, and the longer the suit drags on, the more we find out that proves what we say.
