Killing feral kittens is NOT euthanasia *PIC*

It is time to tell it just as it is.

Killing because kittens are not immediately adoptable without any intervention is not Animal Welfare, it is not euthanasia, it is simply killing for ease and expediency.

The BC SPCA has had over fifty years to develop a proper feral cat program and protocol and simply has not bothered. Perhaps with enough public pressure some effort will start to be expended, because what is happening now is simply unacceptable.

Feral cats and kittens are not simply pests to be erradicated and many other small, hardworing organizations have found humane solutions.

Victoria has GVAC and foster homes which cares for its feral kittens. Many examples of this can be seen on the Victoria Adoptables website:

Brody's story:
Brody was trapped as a feral kitten but has become quite used to people now. He can be initially shy but once petted will purr like a diesel engine! He is a typical boy too, he likes to play rough and tumble with the other cats. He is approx 5 months old now and would make a great addition to any home. Brody is used to large friendly dogs and rabbits.
