Getting the terminology honest: A "shelter" does not kill the sheltered...

The manager's excuses for killing cats have been repeated by the SPCA for as long as we have documented the SPCA's policies and practices, going back 50 years.

First let's just go over the false use of words again.

A "shelter" does not kill the sheltered. Killing unwanted animals is properly called "pest control"

"Euthansia" does not apply to killing the healthy. This kind of killing is properly called "pest control".

An "adoption" where there is no home check is a "sale".

Is the Parksville SPCA out there, trapping, doing spay/neuter, and caring for the colonies, so that they receive less feral cats?
