Speaking of being "honest" - why doesn't the SPCA call people who bring in animals, to tell them that they are going to kill the animals?
The people might be able to make the choice to get the animals back out of the SPCA (to prevent cruelty).
To take animals (in this case, cats), assure the kind -hearted person who brought them in that they would be well cared for and socialized, and then to just turn around and kill them - well, that's just adding dishonesty to killing.
Is the Parksville SPCA out there, trapping, doing spay/neuter, and caring for the colonies, so that they receive less feral cats?
