Animal Advocates Watchdog

AAS is doing exactly what it was established to do.

As someone who is blessed to have two companions adopted through AAS I would assume that you are fully aware of the role of advocacy in the animal community. By definition, to advocate means, "a person who pleads on behalf of another, especially in a court of law; a person who speaks or writes in support of some cause, argument or proposal". As you can ascertain from this definition AAS is doing exactly what it was established to do.

The SPCA must be held accountable to the voiceless and only through continued monitoring, evaluation and discussion can the lost, stray, abused, chained and neglected be safe. My personal view is that AAS is not focusing on fighting the SPCA but encouraging the society to follow its own guidelines and mandate.

AAS has assured that bylaws, legislation and enforcement are implemented and acted on, this is the role of an advocate.
