Friends Of The Animals' letter to the SPCA

Dear Sir or Madam:

While I applaud yet another puppy mill being raided and the dogs being taken into custody, I await apprehensively to see what their fate will be. Will they have genuinely have been saved or will it be another fiasco, as in the surrender of the Beaverdell dogs. Will these already traumatized puppies be subject to assessing and more assessing until if they weren't already traumatized they will be and once again it will be an excuse to destroy them. I sincerely hope not!! I, like many of my fellow animal lovers, await anxiously to see once again how the SPCA will act. Will the welfare of these poor animals be the foremost consideration, or once again will they be put on the back burner to rot away once the glory of a puppy mill seizure is no longer news.

Yes, the SPCA is short on man power, but there are a lot of rescue groups and also lots of everyday people, animal lovers, who would be more than willing to work with the SPCA to help with the influx of these dogs. For goodness sake utilize the man power that is out there , at your disposal, and for once continue to do the right thing.

Remember the eyes of B.C. are upon you. You have taken a giant step in the right direction in going after these despicable creatures, who prey on the innocents, now follow through and don't blow it.!!!

Sincerely,

Teresa Jensen

What will be the fate of seized puppy mill dogs?
AAS should stop criticising the SPCA
Work WITH the SPCA? How? *LINK*
The SPCA was not doing those things Lani mentioned
I personally smell a fish so to speak
AAS is doing exactly what it was established to do.
Only by forcing the BC SPCA to prevent cruelty
