All that I can say is “way to go” Amanda and the other fearless volunteers who took control and stopped the BC SPCA from killing yet another animal on the basis of their inhumane assessment tool and bad judgment by management and so-called “assessors”.
It is pretty sad state of affairs when the volunteers have to resort to making Cheech “disappear” from the BC SPCA – the one place that he should have been the safest.
What is even more unbelievable is that the BC SPCA is trying to charge these volunteers with theft. Once again resorting to “strong arm” tactics when they don’t get their own way.
What an incompetent group the BC SPCA is – the CEO, board of directors and any management who is involved in this fiasco should be fired or resign immediately.
