What AAS would do is make it illegal to breed these sad dogs in the first place

We were just phoned by a person who wants us to rehome their Pit bull for them. This happens all the time.

She bought her Pit bull at a mall and it is two years old now. She is being accused of letting her Pit bull run loose which she says no longer happens now that she uses 4000lb test wire to tether it. The problem is that the dog "has a really high prey drive and can't be trusted around small dogs. I can't take her to parks and the dog has no life."

We can't help her of course and when her dog does kill a dog or a dog-sized child, it will be killed.

What AAS would do is make it illegal to breed these sad dogs in the first place, and for saying that we are vilified by the "rescue angels".

The SPCA plays to the cheap seats when it sanctimoniously says that it does not make distinctions based on breed...
