I wish the BCCA well, but I also warn them to beware of the fox

Its amazing to me and members of The BC Dog Breeders Association, that here we see the Cattlemen's association of B.C. agreeing to sign an animal health agreement and to provide assistance in the form of providing experts to assist the SPCA in their cruelty investigations of cattle ranchers in B.C. This must be the first time in 109 yrs that the SPCA is admitting that they do not have the knowledge of the cattle business to properly assess what is or isn't cruelty when it comes to cattle.

As much as this is the proper steps for the SPCA to take, I can't help but "question" their motives. As we know, the SPCA has shown that they can't be trusted and that they usually will seize animals despite contrary "expert opinion" and that their uneducated opinion is all that really matters when it comes to seizing animals.

If I were a member of the BCCA I would really question this agreement and I would be extremely cautious of the SPCA in its participation, as I believe that this is like letting the "fox into the hen house" to inspect the hens.

I would like to think I'm wrong, but I do not think so. As our association has been asking for a similiar agreement and the SPCA has refused to even meet with us to discuss our concerns in respects to our industry.

I wish the BCCA well, but I also warn them to beware of the fox.
