Mary Rose
Mary Rose: 15 year old female
Mary Rose smiles for the camera
When she was at the mill, Mary Rose walked with her head down and
straight out or slanted to the side...NEVER held up like she does
now. We thought perhaps she had some arthritis in her neck
that was causing the strange head-down posture, until we observed
the puppy mill operator grabbing dogs by the neck and hoisting them
into the air from a standing height.
She actually started to lift her head up a little bit for the first time since I saw her at the puppy mill. Amazing how a girl feels after a day at the beauty salon.
Mary
Rose... "I'm gorgeous. Now would someone tell that fool to get me a different coloured coat. I'm a girl for Pete's sake." Look at how tall she was sitting in this picture!!!
She was blast...such a character once she was warm and clean.
Don’t you try and tell her she's 15 years old. She'll tell you where
to go.
Mary Rose is nothing short of remarkable, resilient, resoundingly forgiving...a perfect red rose. She is in a new home - a real home - where she is loved and cared for as she should be. |
Mary Roses's new family has found as all those who take and damaged dog into their homes and hearts, that the dog is the most loved dog of all... |
Mary Rose sends her love, and says that her new mom can't figure
out what she really is - a big brave dog, or just another cat,
only really small ; ) |
