Carla was charged with cruelty in regards to the conditions of her own horses, not the rescues. She has also allowed her dogs to free breed and they were not in good condition. You can read the court documents.

No one doesn't need a fancy property but one does need to care for the animals on their property according to the laws we have. Sadly this was not done and so far has been proven and upheld by our courts.

I saw Carla's horses with my own eyes not long after the seizure and I wouldn't be proud to call them my own if they were mine.

The SPCA is looking out for the animals, not the rescuer as that is their job caring about animals.
