Do you two think that everyone who has charges laid against them is guilty? Why then are so many people found not guilty?

Do you two think that everyone found guilty is guilty? Why then are there appeal courts?

Do you two know nothing of all the cases the SPCA has lost after having charges laid? Do you know nothing about the cases where the SPCA has had to return the seized animals because of unlawful and illegal seizures.

Do you know nothing of the cases of abuse of power by the SPCA? Cases where warrants were thrown out. Do you know nothing of the case that the SPCA had to drop because it wouldn't produce the documents to show who gave the information to the J.P to get the warrant. Was it her husband, an ex-SPCA employee who was buddies with the very people who seized her animals after she had called the police on him?

Sometimes the victims haven't the money to defend themselves, sometimes the cases are thrown out because of abuse of process, falsified warrants, personal animus, and other reason that cast a light on serious abuse of power by the SPCA. But the SPCA's abuse of power isn't revealed nearly often enough... yet. What has been done to Carla is nothing less than an abuse of process. It may not be against the law, but it should be. Let's hope it is against the law soon in Ontario and let's hope that BC gets a new government soon because the one you have doesn't care about the SPCA's abuses of its power.
