"Euthanasia" is anything but "gentle" for feral cats

"Euthanasia: a painless, gentle death to the animal with minimal stress."

This statement may be true when discussing the killing of tame, easy to be handled and held animals. It is certainly not true when discussing feral cats. The whole procedure from trapping, housing to death is extremely frightening and stressful for feral cats. In their case the word euthanasia is certainly incorrect.
