AAS research shows that there are no consistent animal welfare policies at the SPCA yet, though there has been plenty of time and money to churn out fake programs like the Violence Link Project, and trips to England for fake dog tests so it can "scientifically justify" killing dogs for its pound contracting business by saying that killing is animal welfare, to name just two of the fake things the SPCA spends animal-loving donators money on.
The SPCA is great at holding parties and giving itself awards and putting out glossy material. But it fails horribly at deciding what it is going to do - animal control or animal welfare. It has to do something that can be made to look like animal welfare now that the internet's thousand eyes are watching, but it seems, from the way it is pursuing animal control contracts, that it can't bear to give up that income.
The trouble with b.s. is that it tends to get messy and up your nose. Just honest animal welfare is not confusing at all...just expensive.
