What a twisted viewpoint this SPCA Manager has!
In Response To: Penny Stone on no-kill ()

"I hate the term no kill there is no such thing."

There is such a thing and there are wonderful examples of true no-kill shelters. Best Friends Sanctuary in the US, and SAINTS in Mission BC are just two that come to mind.

"It’s great to say you’re no kill but then you’re not helping the ones that really need help."

But the ones who need rehab and are difficult ARE the ones who need help the most! It's very disturbing that this SPCA Manager says it's ok to kill those animals, and only take the easy ones. Where is the animal welfare in that?
