A wind of change - no longer easy to hide misconduct
In Response To: SPCA whistleblower protection ()

In our society there traditionally has been little or no protection for individual whistleblowers but there is now a wind of change. The new approach is for the top elite in organizations to be more receptive to criticism in order to appear more transparent and to maintain a positive public image. Because of new technology and increased communications it isn't as easy to hide misconduct and keep problems within a corporation.

No longer can an agency or government expect a culture of silence. Eventually what one person knows will spread and corruption and untruths will come to light. And there will be consequences.
