In my opinion, they are irresponsible and totally incapable of overseeing the animals and related issues in this province.The handling of the Beaverdell dogs proves to me that nothing has changed at the BCSPCA, and that the reform process they love to boast about so publicly, is flawed.
I hope when all is said and done, the BCSPCA is left with no pound contracts, as they don't appear to deserve having them given the far from adequate job they do. Thank goodness for the many small rescue groups in BC who do so much more than their fair share,with little to no financial support,and often at huge personal expense. It boggles the mind to imagine what the BCSPCA could really do with their multi-millions in financial resources, if they truly cared about the animals the way they should.
