The Coquitlam Pound demonstrates true animal welfare

The Coquitlam Pound is extremely low kill, (3 animals in 3 years) and has a very active volunteer base that feels empowered to make suggestions to staff and management.

Additionally, the Coquitlam Pound provides vet care for ill or injured animals, does home and reference checks and is a stellar example of how a well run organization can support animals in need while they await a permanent placement or foster home.
