Sorry, you're wrong about Coquitlam Pound

Sorry, you're wrong about Coquitlam Pound. Cats are animals too and the Coquitlam Pound has a 10% admitted kill rate for cats.

They kill cats for being ill and for having behavioural "problems". Feral cats will scratch out chidren's eyes says Debbie Brown, Coquitlam's solicter. Brown was responsible for getting rid of the SPCA and replacing it with another similar bunch.

Obviously she knows nothing about cats, especially ferals. When was the last time anyone could get close enough to a feral to get their eyes scratched out?

Stop blessing Municipal Pounds. My research over the last three years shows they all are travelling along the same path as the SPCA has gone.

The answer is a provincial animal cruelty policing force, separate from all other organizations. This organization will set standards and monitor all the other organizations and be paid by the government.
