At determination that the animals were not adoptable, the cats were euthanized

I had contacted the Coq Pound late Fall 2003 about taking cats trapped in Coquitlam.

The pound did not own traps for loan to the public or for trapping by staff but several feral/wild cats had been surrendered to the pound. I was told that the cats had been placed in cages for observation--could be for weeks or longer resources/space permitting. At determination that the animals were not adoptable, the cats were euthanized.
