Dear Mr. Brimacombe and Fellow Directors,

I would like to see full disclosure of all salaries over $100 000. This would really help members like me, who give hundreds a year to the SPCA, when making estate plans or deciding on the amount of donations to make. It's so important for members to trust after what happened on a previous occasion. I note that the SPCA really stresses openness with the public. I have asked this question a number of times, but my request was either ignored or the information was not given.

I would like this to be raised at the Director's meeting.

I am sorry that this request is so late in arriving, but I have been in China on an animal related convention.

I hope that the overcrowding at local shelters will also be discussed. Our staff here do a valiant job, despite horrendous overcrowding and the inevitable health problems that accompany situations where the cats have only two rooms between 100 or more cats. I realize that this has been a difficult year in many areas of BC. I think that there are plans to build a new shelter in Nanaimo, which will hopefully occur soon.
