Animal Advocates Watchdog

Re: AAS did the research and warned this would hap

Hi,
I support your work and efforts. I think that this incident is a great opportunity to push forward bylaws to stop cruelty to animals. However, it is also an opportunity to educate the public about what behaviour could possibly prevent an attack by a dog i.e. what one shouldn't do. I am aware that not everyone can have the presence of mind to act properly and also that there are unfortunate people who are absolutely terrified of dogs (even puppies), but I think that an article about how to behave if confronted by a possibly vicious dog would be beneficial.

I also wanted to mention that I was quite upset that in 1 of the local papers during the weekend there was a picture of a rescued Rottweiler (with the man who runs Big dog rescue) with a pic of Ms. White. Now many people (I'm refering to those ignorant of the breed) will yet again associate the Rottweilers with the attack! Unnecessary bad press for this breed.
Thanks for your attention to this and keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Ksenia Jagodic
